Dairy and livestock sectors in Pakistan

UNIDO ITPO Italy is pleased to invite you and your professional network to attend its virtual event “Webinar on Dairy and Livestock Sectors of Pakistan” on 22 June 2020, starting at 10:00 AM (Italian Time).

This webinar provides a platform for knowledge exchange between Italian and Pakistani companies operating in the dairy and livestock sectors, in order to increase investment opportunities and the transfer of innovative best practices, in the framework of the longstanding cooperation between ITPO Italy and Pakistan.

Organized in collaboration with the Pakistani Embassy in Rome and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), the event will feature the participation of several Pakistani institutions, companies, associations, universities, SMEs and many other relevant stakeholders.

The multi-panel discussion includes presentations and interventions by the Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT), highlighting the incentives of the provincial and federal governments for foreign investors, the Punjab Livestock & Dairy Development Board (PLDDB), specifically focusing on the investment opportunities within the Pakistani livestock and dairy sectors, and the Pakistani Dairy Association (PDA), introducing the local conditions, dynamics and key players so as to facilitate the access to the Pakistani market.

Several Italian companies will also participate as speakers, presenting their innovative technologies and solutions to Pakistani counterparts for the sustainable industrial development of the livestock and dairy sectors in Pakistan.

At the end of the multi-panel discussion, the virtual attendees will also have the opportunity to actively take part in the conversation and further discuss these topics during the dedicated Q&A session.
