DESCRIPTION:The Bank of Italy\, Bocconi University - BAFFI CAREFIN and the 
 Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR) announce the program of the fou
 rth edition of the conference on 'Financial Stability and Regulation'. The
  Bank of Italy will host the event at the Carlo Azeglio Ciampi Center for 
 monetary and financial education\, in Rome\, on April 4 and 5.\nThe langua
 ge of the proceedings will be English and the conference will cover topics
  related to financial crises\, banking regulation and supervision\, the ro
 le of climate risk and technological innovation in financial markets\, and
  the growth of non-bank financial intermediaries.\nDeputy Governor Chiara 
 Scotti will introduce the conference with a welcome address. Prof. Amit Se
 ru of Stanford University and Prof. Philip Strahan of Boston College will 
 give two keynote lectures.\nIt is possible to consult the complete program
